Shipping Options & Costs:

Priority Mail:

We normally ship via USPS Priority mail which will arrive within 1-6 business days anywhere in the US. The charge for this is $5.99. We can also ship via UPS for the same charge. Some larger books may be shipped by UPS instead of Priority mail, so please include an address other than a PO Box. You can view a map showing transit times for UPS Ground shipments within the US.

Standard Mail:

If you are prepared to wait longer for your book, we can ship via USPS Media Mail will take 1-5 weeks. The charge for this is $3.99. All US shipments sent via the USPS receive free Delivery Confirmation. We will email to you your delivery confirmation number when we ship the package. Delivery confirmation is not a tracking number and may not display information until the package is actually delivered.

Store Pickup:

If you live in the area and wish to pick up the book at either of our retail stores, please choose store pickup and find our locations at sell books page.

Multiple Copies

If more than one book is ordered, Media mail shipping will be calculated at the base rate plus $1 per additional book. Priority and UPS is an additional $2 per book.

Outside the USA

Please email service@bookcellaronline.com or call in advance to find out more about the International shipping options available.

Note that the buyer is responsible for all charges imposed by customs agencies or postal services of other countries and that these agencies may cause your package to be significantly delayed.

Returns Policy:

Books are returnable within 7 days of receipt. Please contact us if there is any problem with your order and we will do everything in our power to correct it by replacing the book or accepting the book back for a full refund. For discretionary returns, there may be a small restock fee. Please contact us at service@bookcellaronline.com to receive a return authorization number.

Supplemental materials:

We make every effort to include supplemental materials such as CDs, workbooks, and working online access codes with each purchase. However, we can’t guarantee that any such accessories accompany books unless it specifically states in the description that it is included. Also, some supplemental materials are designed for one use only and may have already been used by the first owner.

Selling Books

What we buy

We purchase back all types of books – current and previous editions, instructor editions and heavily used books. If your book no longer has value we also offer you the opportunity to donate it. Donated books are either sent directly to teachers and schools overseas, or if some can be sold a percentage of the sale is donated to local charities. We also buyback general books directly at our stores for store credit.

How to sell books back to us

If you live near either of our retail stores you can bring the books directly there and receive an instant quote (if for some reason an quote can’t be done on the spot you will hear back in usually 24-48 hours).

Receiving payment

Once we receive your books and verify their condition a check is mailed to you.
